We have an exceptional opportunity for a Head Veterinary Surgeon to join the fantastic team at successful small animal veterinary practice in the City of Chelmsford area, ESSEX
* hours worked over 3 or 4 days per week (9am- 7pm) including 1 in 4 weekends on a rota basis and no OOH.
* practice is purpose built with great facilities and up to date equipment and technologies including; ultrasound, digital x-ray, multi parameter monitoring and in-house laboratory
* caseload offers a full spectrum of first opinion cases with mainly dogs and cats alongside some small furries and exotics and surgical caseload to include; Neutering, Mass removals, Dentistry, Basic ophthalmic surgery, Emergency surgeries (pyometra, c section, foreign bodies, cystotomies) and surgical and non-surgical wound management
* role would ideally suit an existing Head Vet looking for change or a Senior Vet looking to step up.

Person Requirements
* Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
* Registered with the RCVS
* Head Vet looking for change or a Senior Vet looking to step up.
