We are currently looking for Bank Carers at Beech House in Thornbury.

Responsibilities and Duties
* Delivering high quality personal care to our residents
* Ensuring that every individual within the home has a personalised and meaningful experience of life.
* Participating in nursing procedures to assist our nursing staff
* Maintaining the dignity and privacy of residents and respecting their individual needs
* Assisting with serving meals and drinks
* Assisting with other tasks as requested to ensure the smooth running of the home
* Attending and participation in orientation, mandatory and other training as require
Requirements
* We are looking for experienced Care Assistants as well as motivated and enthusiastic individuals looking to start a career in care
* We offer NVQ Health and Social Care level 2 training for other care staff.
Although we will consider applicants without qualifications or experience, the following would be an advantage:
* Experience of working with the elderly, preferably in a care home environment
* Level 2 qualification in health and social care or equivalent.
PAY
As an employee 21 years + new to care, working alternate weekends, you can expect a starting rate of £12.70 per hour
* 10% additional pay at weekends
* 50% extra pay on Bank holidays.
