We're seeking a strategic and technically skilled Financial Crime Screening (FCS) Workstream Lead to drive the development and execution of financial crime screening processes at Barclays. You'll lead the design and documentation of screening protocols, oversee testing scope and frequency, and manage formal reporting outputs. This is a high-impact role with visibility across compliance, risk, and operational teams, to support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.
Responsibilities
* Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
* Collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
* Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations in operational processes.
* Develop and implement operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
* Develop reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
* Identify industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
* Participate in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
* Advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness.
* Collaborate closely with other functions and business divisions.
* Lead a team performing complex tasks, using well-developed professional knowledge and skills to deliver work that impacts the whole business function; set objectives and coach employees in pursuit of those objectives, appraise performance relative to objectives and determine reward outcomes.
