Requirements
5. Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
6. Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
7. Pre-anesthesia assessment
8. Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
9. Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
10. Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
11. Performance of clinical intervention as needed
12. Supervision and training of anesthesia residents
13. M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
14. ECFMC and FLEX
15. Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
16. Currently licensed as a physician
