We have a great opportunity for a Bar & Restaurant Manager to join the group at Leonardo Hotels.
We want you to lead a brilliant and diverse team to deliver excellence to our valued customers across our amazing hotel.
Experience we expect:
1. Department Manager or exceptional Duty Manager looking for their first HOD role
2. Background in branded hotels or restaurants is preferred – so you will understand how we work and settle in quickly
3. Excellent customer service skills, standards driven, good organisational skills
4. Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment and enjoy it
5. Great at up-selling – anticipating customer needs as well as improving the bottom line
6. Ability to manage the team and resources to ensure departments are equipped for service via cost controls, stock monitoring, and good rota management
7. Effective communication and motivation skills to provide day-to-day leadership and direction
8. Proficiency in computer systems – experience with Opera, SAP, and Micros is preferred
Your responsibilities will be:
1. Manage the daily operations of the Food and Beverage Department
2. Be present in the hotel, managing day-to-day operations and ensuring exceptional guest service during peak times
3. Plan and prepare the hotel for daily business, including morning meetings and team communication
4. Maintain customer satisfaction through quality control standards for products and services, monitored by our mystery guest
5. Control costs and monitor productivity
6. Keep the team informed about departmental, hotel, and company activities through daily communication
7. Develop sales plans aligned with the annual budget, maximising sales through upselling, incentives, and promotions
8. Promptly resolve customer complaints and monitor feedback via TripAdvisor and other platforms, implementing improvements as needed
9. Lead and develop an energetic workforce, involved in recruitment, learning and development, and team engagement initiatives
