Interaction Recruitment are currently working on behalf of a well-established and reputable automotive workshop to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic. The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality servicing, repairs and diagnostics across a range of passenger and light commercial vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine vehicle servicing and mechanical repairsDiagnose faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipmentPerform MOT testing where qualifiedComplete warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standardsConduct Vehicle Health Checks and ensure accurate documentation is completedWork collaboratively with workshop colleagues to meet productivity and quality targetsMaintain high standards of workmanship and customer serviceWorking Hours
Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:00Overtime available on an ad hoc basisSaturday mornings on a rota when requiredCandidate Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician or MechanicLevel 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and RepairFull UK Driving LicenceStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsConfident communicator and effective team playerReliable, punctual and committed to delivering high-quality workSalary and Benefits
