We are seeking a proactive and technically minded Project Manager with a background in Electronic Design Engineering. This is a hands‑on project delivery role, ideal for someone who has moved from an electronics design background into project management. You will play a central role in driving projects forward, working closely with engineers to translate complex technical requirements into successful, deliverable outcomes.
The Role
You will be responsible for leading the delivery of engineering and product development projects across the full lifecycle, from concept through to production. Working closely with electronics, software, and mechanical teams, you’ll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
This is not a design role, but your electronics background will be key in understanding technical challenges, supporting decision‑making, and effectively communicating across teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end project delivery across multidisciplinary engineering teams
* Work closely with electronics engineers to understand technical requirements and constraints
* Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources
* Coordinate activities across software, electronics, and mechanical teams
* Facilitate project meetings, sprint planning, and progress reviews
* Identify risks, remove blockers, and drive projects forwardEnsure clear and effective communication across internal teams and external stakeholders
* Track progress and provide structured reporting to senior management
* Support the transition of products from development into production
* Produce and maintain project documentation
* Help define and refine product requirements through stakeholder engagement
* Proven experience in a Project Manager role within an engineering or product development environment
* Background in Electronic Design Engineering (or similar technical discipline)
* Strong understanding of electronic systems and product development lifecycles
* Experience managing complex, multidisciplinary technical projects
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
* Degree (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
* Experience working with embedded systems, RF, DSP, or similar technologies
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and/or stage‑gate processes
* Understanding of engineering best practices and quality systems
