This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a newly developing multiagency pathway. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Dietitian to join a newly establishing team providing training, professional consultation, and specialist MDT response for Children and Young People experiencing significant eating problems / ARFID.
The role involves working across health, education, and social care to develop an effective pathway, collaborating with clinical specialists to ensure an efficient MDT process, and contributing to the mobilisation of this new pathway. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop skills in project delivery and quality improvement within this innovative area.
Main duties of the job
* Lead and develop the ARFID pathway offer.
* Develop and strengthen clinical pathways.
* Play a key role in developing the multidisciplinary team of professionals.
* Develop graduated response strategies.
* Develop and deliver training and consultation services.
* Collaborate with VCSE partners to ensure safe and effective pathways and transitions.
* Promote, maintain, and develop the multidisciplinary concept of care working.
* Build therapeutic relationships with clients and their carers.
* Participate in research to enhance understanding and good clinical practice.
* Engage in clinical governance activities such as audits and supervision, integrating evidence and research into practice.
