We are seeking a dedicated and organized experienced Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional front desk support in a fast-paced dental office environment. The Dental Receptionist will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth patient experience from scheduling appointments to managing patient records.
Responsibilities
* Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations.
* Schedule and confirm patient appointments using SOE systems such as Exact
* Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered.
* Verify insurance information and assist with insurance claims processing.
* Maintain accurate patient records while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
* Perform medical billing and coding tasks, including CPT coding and ICD-10 documentation.
* Review documentation for completeness and accuracy before filing.
* Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, ensuring prompt response to calls.
* Assist with clerical duties such as filing, typing, and data entry using Microsoft Office applications.
* Support the dental team with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar medical office role is preferred.
* Familiarity with dental terminology, medical billing, and care plans is essential.
* Proficient in using dental systems such as Exact
* Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate various software applications effectively.
* Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing individual responsibilities effectively.
