An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the most successful franchisees in the Kutchenhaus network as we continue our ambitious expansion. We are looking for a full-time Showroom Assistant to become part of our friendly, design-led team at Kutchenhaus York.
As a growing business with a reputation for delivering beautiful, bespoke German kitchens and home furniture, we pride ourselves on offering exceptional service and a welcoming experience to every client.
What You’ll Be Doing As a Showroom Assistant, you will support the daily running of our high-end showroom and provide exceptional front-line customer service. Qualifying customer enquiries before passing them to the design/sales team.
Managing the showroom diary and booking consultations and follow-ups.
Answering phones, managing emails, and providing administrative support.
Maintaining product knowledge and learning about German kitchen design features.
Supporting designers, project coordinators, and installation teams when needed.
✅ Customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or showroom environments (luxury or design-focused preferred).
Strong administrative ability, including appointment management and CRM use.
Interest in kitchens, interiors, or home design - with willingness to learn product knowledge.
Reliable, flexible, and calm under pressure; Experience in kitchen/interiors retail or showroom roles.
Support experience with sales/design teams or project coordination.
Exposure to kitchen design software or luxury home products.
Long-term interest in interior design or career growth in kitchen design.
Competitive salary between £20,000 – £24,000 depending on experience.
