This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast paced SME in East Yorkshire, who, at times punches well above its weight in the FMCG arena! You will be working within a small, friendly business and alongside a young and ambitious team. Working to agreed KPIs, you will have full P&L responsibility, and will lead out to identify opportunities for growth. This is a key role within the sales structure and one that is required to work cross-functionally right across the business. You will be tasked with opening new channels and develop new relationships with a very exciting and progressive product range. Creme dOr have invested in a pipeline of new products to complement their existing highly successful range. 2026 will be a very exciting year.
The National Account Manager will be actively engaged with new product developments alongside the marketing strategies of the core brands we work in partnership with. This role should excite those candidates who enjoy being hands on and wish to have input into the product development, as quite simply; our NAMs are creating and delivering tangible products that are landing in the UK retail market, right now, as you read this! The role at times will be reactive, and the job holder must be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
The National Account Manager is working towards achieving top line sales whilst concentrating on maximising the margin contribution. You have to be working with the ethos of creating and working partnerships, right through the supply chain.
Given the strategic nature of this role you will be working closely with the senior management team and Directors to help deliver the 3-5 year strategic plans.
Key Responsibilities
* Present the Creme dOr business and brand strategy
* Operate with integrity and honesty as core principles

* Network with key customers
* Manage your portfolio whilst always building internal relationships
* Work closely with colleagues on new projects right through to delivery
* Act as the liaison between customers and internal teams
* Fully engage with the product development team to set and implement strategies for new products
* Liaise and build relationships with key brand owners of our imported brands
* Communicate with manufacturers and manage end to end product delivery
* Negotiate agreements with both customers and manufacturers
* Full P&L account responsibility
* Collect and analyse sales data and trends
* Hold regular meetings with management and Directors
Requirements
* Proven work experience as a NAM / NAE / BDM
* Ability to build and understand business plans
* Substantial experience in sales and customer service
* Demonstrable experience in negotiating
* In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics
* Hands on experience with Powerpoint and MS Excel
* Excellent analytical and organisational skills
* Strong communication skills
* Proven track record of working with KPIs
* Availability to travel as needed
* Full driving licence is essential for the position
* BA degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field would be a bonus
* Ideally located in Yorkshire with ability to work from East Yorkshire office
