Job Description

Key responsibilities for this role include:

1. Partner with Sales (local and originating sites), Business Director, Product Managers, and Product Development Managers in implementing strategic plans for new differentiated products to meet market demands consistent with strategic plans.
2. By interacting directly with leading edge customers, assimilate and present current and anticipated market requirements for FUJIFILM Electronic Materials along with product specific performance requirements for current and upcoming technology nodes. Includes developing technical roadmaps aligned with industry and customer requirements.
3. Strongly collaborate with technology development, operations and quality to drive new product introductions successfully according to customer timelines and performance targets.
4. Support product development process for new products by collaborating with technology and business teams to meet internal product development protocol requirements, external customer data requirements and government regulatory requirements.
5. Coordinate responses to customer inquiries for technical information for new and existing products.
6. Collaborate with supplier quality engineers on change control validation, capacity increase, business continuity planning, quality improvement and cost reduction projects.
7. Drive projects with industry partners in line with key product technical requirements.
8. Manage and support change projects at key customers.
9. Manage and support statistical production data reviews at key customers for new and existing products.
10. Lead select product quality improvement projects internally and task force projects with customers.

REQUIREMENTS

11. BS or MS in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related fields with minimum of 15 years of experience in Electronic Materials. MBA a plus.
12. Must be fluent in both English and Korean.
13. Willingness to attend functions and travel outside of standard working hours as well as frequent international travel. Travel expected to be above 50%.
14. Experience with ultra-pure solvents, formulated and bulk chems, photolithography, and thin film systems preferred.
15. Experience working with Tier 1 semiconductor companies preferred.
16. Ability to solve problems and coordinate activities associated with chemical, physical, material and process related issues.
17. Strong understanding of Statistical Process Control rules and processes.
18. Must have a good working knowledge of statistics and design of experiment methods to understand and interpret data for customer presentation and internal requirements.
19. Understanding of problem-solving methods and root cause analysis/investigation.
20. Must have excellent capability to use PowerPoint, Excel to create concise internal technical and customer presentations.
21. Must have demonstrated strong organizational and communication skills.
22. Working knowledge of Lean six sigma methodology
