Job Description
Contract opportunity for Offshore Installation Manager for Offshore Foundation and Structure Installation within European wind energy sector. Hybrid working with London office base and travel to European sites.
You will have prior experience of Offshore Foundation and Structure Installation
* Possess strong project management capabilities with a structured, service-minded, and flexible approach to the assigned scope
* Be a great team player, self-starting, highly motivated, and show willingness to travel
* Have 3+ years of experience as offshore installation manager or similar role within Foundation T&I in offshore wind
* Should have experience working on European projects
* Experience working with EU tenders would be a plus but not required
* Have GWO and HUET certificates
Tasks
* Managing sub scopes of the Foundation T&I installation, incl. technical and commercial assessment of different installation methodologies and equipment
* Ensuring quality and safety compliance of T&I contractor's documentation.
* Coordinating Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) acceptance – including sourcing of MWS.
* Continuous interaction with internal and external stakeholders to ensure schedule, cost, technical, quality and safety aspects of the T&I execution and project impact are managed.
* Ensuring all loadout, transport and installation tasks are performed to acceptable standards – partially by own physical attendance.
* Capturing and communicate lessons learned.
* Feeding input to R&D, O&M and other internal stakeholders.
