About the Role

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support R&D projects focused on chemistry instruments and laboratory technologies, from concept through to commercialization.
* Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product development, etc.) and external partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
* Conduct detailed experiments, data analysis, and product evaluations to optimize performance and innovation.
* Align product development efforts with customer needs and market demands, ensuring a competitive edge in the laboratory technology market.
* Contribute to the development of new technologies and methodologies to drive product improvements and advancements.
* Provide expert advice and support to the R&D team and stakeholders on scientific challenges and technical direction.
* Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform strategic R&D decisions.
* Prepare technical reports, research papers, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* PhD or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience in chemistry instruments, laboratory technologies, and product development.
* Strong background in leading and managing R&D projects in a scientific environment.
* Solid understanding of customer‑driven product development, including aligning technology with market needs.
* Excellent data analysis, problem‑solving, and experimental design skills.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and effectively.
* Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
* Experience in intellectual property development and protection is a plus.
