As a Graduate GIS Consultant in our Environmental and Social division’s Digital Delivery Team, you’ll be part of a collaborative, innovative, and resourceful group that believes in the power of well-managed data, automation, and visualisation. What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll work on a diverse range of projects and be part of a global GIS community of over 700 specialists and users. Your responsibilities may include:
* Project support: Assist the wider GIS team in delivering activities to deadlines across multiple projects
* Data management & mapping: Digitise geospatial data, manage datasets, and produce maps and final figures for reports
* Tool selection & development: Recommend and apply the most appropriate tools, including GIS platforms, databases, Python scripting, FME workbenches, or MS Power Automate flows
* Workflow optimisation: Identify opportunities to improve workflows and deliver innovative solutions
* Data sourcing & processing: Source, manage, and process incoming data to inform project teams and deliver high-quality outputs
* Field data collection: Manage mobile data collection packages for field workers
* Standards & collaboration: Help develop and implement standards and tools for day-to-day GIS processes
* Knowledge sharing: Participate in professional excellence activities within our global GIS community
Candidate Specification
We are looking for committed and motivated graduates with a genuine passion and a desire to make a difference in the world. To be eligible for this opportunity, you will have less than 12 months’ relevant experience (excluding placements) and have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree (obtained no earlier than 2024) or expected to achieve one, in one of the following degree disciplines:
* Geographical Information Science (GIS)
* Geography
* Geospatial Data Science
