* Calling customers to follow up on overdue invoices while maintaining strong working relationships
* Producing weekly aged debtor reports and providing updates to the Financial Controller
* Working closely with internal departments and placing accounts on hold where required
* Allocating BACS payments from the bank statements
* Recommending ideas to improve and enhance existing processes
* Overseeing the billing inbox and responding to customer queries
What you will need:
* Previous experience in a similar role, such as Accounts Receivable Clerk / Credit Controller / Credit Control Clerk / Credit
* Control Manager / Sales Ledger Clerk / Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant / Collections Officer
* A confident and professional communication style, able to handle sensitive conversations
* Intermediate Excel skills
