On behalf of our client, Grand River Personnel is currently seeking Machine Operators to support the production of automotive components. The facility is not accessible by public transit. A reliable personal vehicle is required. Applicants relying on shared transportation will not be considered. Students are not eligible for this role.
This is a Full-time position from Monday to Friday with periodic Mandatory Overtime on Saturdays.
Day shift: 6:am – 2:pm – $./hr
Afternoon Shift: 2:pm – :pm $.+ $0. shift premium
Night Shift: :pm – 6:am – $. +$0. shift premium
* + 4% vacation pay added to each cheque weekly.
Responsibilities:
1. Operate manual and automated machinery to produce automotive parts
2. Handle and move larger components for assembly
3. Perform basic mathematical calculations to ensure production accuracy
4. Use hand tools and basic measuring equipment
5. Complete required documentation and reporting
6. Meet daily production targets and quotas
Requirements:
7. Ability to perform basic math and communicate effectively in English
8. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
9. Ability to accurately record production data
10. Able to maintain quality standards while working at production pace
11. CSA-approved safety footwear and safety glasses required
12. All additional PPE will be provided
