HGV CLASS 2 ADR DRIVER People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver to join our well-established client based in Middlesbrough. Shifts • Day shifts – Monday to Friday • Circa 05:00 start times Rates of Pay • £17.00 per hour Benefits As an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver, you will receive: • Excellent hourly rates – PAYE role (holidays accrued separately) • Weekly pay • Ongoing work with full training and support • Immediate starts available • Company discounts after qualifying period • Staff canteen • Free on-site parking • Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to): • Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently • Delivering to RDCs and customer sites • Completing loading and unloading duties safely and accurately • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects • Adhering to all traffic laws and road safety regulations • Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork • Communicating effectively with dispatch teams, customers, and site staff • Working alongside a Drivers Mate to complete multi-drop deliveries where required Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver, you will need: • Valid UK Category C Licence • Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • European ADR qualification • No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD, or CD codes) • Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude • Good communication and customer service skills • Understanding of road safety and compliance regulations Desirable Experience • Previous commercial or multi-drop delivery experience • Experience handling large or bulky goods • Good customer interaction and service skills Training Provided • Full industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply If you are ready to take on this opportunity as an HGV Class 2 ADR Driver based in Middlesbrough, apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.
