About the role
Balfour Beatty (CPS) has an exciting opportunity for an IT Project Manager to join our growing team.
This role can be based from either South Mimms, Leatherhead or Dartford.
As a Digital Project Manager you will work under the Business Planning and Performance department in the Digital and Information Team for the M25 DBFO – supporting the delivery of a complex portfolio of digital changes. Management of 2-3 key digital projects in the portfolio.
Deliver each project in line with a structured methodology for technology projects on the M25, reporting progress, developing and managing a plan and delivering key project items.
What you'll be doing
* Delivery of digital/technology projects in the digital transformation portfolio
* Adherence to the technology project delivery methodology, including development of key project artefacts
* Management of all commercial processes in conjunction with the CPS commercial team
* Regular updates on progress made and status reporting to the Head of Business Transformation and the Digital and Data Delivery Lead
* Capture, measurement and tracking of key project benefits in conjunction with the Finance team
* Reporting at key governance forums on progress made, such as the CPS Change Board
* Management of project finances and engagement with the Finance team
* Identification, reporting and tracking of project risks, issues and dependencies
Who we're looking for
* Extensive experience as a Project Manager within IT/Digital teams
* Previous experience with managing multiple projects
* Experience with identifying and capturing project benefits
* Experience with managing senior stakeholders
