About the Role
This position plays a key role in supporting our operations by carrying out maintenance and upgrade work at our manufacturing facilities in Ellesmere Port. It’s a great opportunity to contribute to diverse projects within a fast-paced environment, ensuring all electrical work meets industry standards and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
* Maintenance and repair and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical plant.
* Completing maintenance work to our planned schedules, using our software systems.
* Working with internal and external teams on plant improvement projects.
* Working in a safe manner at all times.
* Training / upskilling other staff (maintenance team / operatives).
* Assisting with completing of and improvements to Risk Assessments / Method Statements.
* Experience in repair and settings for variable speed drives, PLC’s, motors and automation systems.
* Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
* Able to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
* Weekend and weekday overtime may be required.
Qualifications
* Recognised electrical based qualification.
* At least 5 years of relevant industrial experience (panels, etc).
Required Skills
* Professional, positive, diligent and dedicated, with an eye for critical detail.
* Capable of balancing high workloads.
* High problem solving abilities.
* Able to effectively interact with operatives and plant management.
* Familiar with and maintains a high level of Health and Safety awareness at all times.
* Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook etc).
* Full, clean driving and fork lift truck licence.
* Ability to work at heights.
