We are now seeking a *Registered Manager* to lead our team, ensure compliance with CQC standards, and champion a positive, supportive workplace culture.
*Role Overview*
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the *quality, safety, and compliance* of our domiciliary care service across Sevenoaks and East Surrey. You will oversee both office and field staff, ensuring services are delivered effectively and in line with CQC and company standards.
You will report directly to the *Managing Director*, who retains responsibility for financial matters including payroll, invoicing, and package negotiations. Your focus will be on *compliance, auditing, staff leadership, and service quality*, ensuring that the business continues to thrive through safe, compassionate, and well-managed care.
This is a *full-time role* that requires flexibility. While core hours are Monday to Friday, occasional *on-call duties* may be required to ensure the smooth running of the service.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and company policies, maintaining an “Outstanding” approach to care.
* Lead on audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Supervise, support, and motivate care teams through regular supervisions, appraisals, and team meetings.
* Promote a positive workplace culture that values staff wellbeing, professional development, and morale.
* Oversee service user assessments, care planning, risk assessments, and regular reviews.
* Monitor care delivery to ensure safety, dignity, and person-centred outcomes.
* Ensure effective rostering and scheduling to match client needs with staff skills.
* Handle complaints, compliments, and safeguarding concerns in a timely and professional manner.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and community partners.
* Support the Managing Director in securing and maintaining care packages by demonstrating excellent compliance and service quality.
*Responsibilities*
* Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care agency, ensuring the delivery of high standards of care to service users.
* Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each service users needs, including those requiring dementia and Alzheimer's care.
* Supervise and support care workers in medication administration and daily activities, fostering a collaborative team environment.
* Conduct regular assessments of service user needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain accurate documentation for inspections.
* Provide leadership and training to staff, promoting professional development within the team.
* Engage with service users and their families to address concerns and enhance their overall experience at home.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both residents and staff.
*Skills*
* Proven experience in domiciliary care settings is essential.
* Strong background in care with knowledge of senior care practices.
* Experience in developing care plans tailored to individual needs, particularly for those with dementia or Alzheimer's.
* Excellent management skills with prior supervising experience in a home care environment.
* Demonstrated leadership abilities to inspire and motivate a team of caregivers.
* Proficient in medication administration protocols and safety regulations within a care setting.
* Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with service users, families, and healthcare professionals.

*Requirements*
*Essential:*
* Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within domiciliary/home care.
* Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and Fundamental Standards.
* NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (or working towards).
* Excellent leadership, auditing, and organisational skills.
* Experience conducting staff supervisions, appraisals, and team development.
* A genuine passion for quality care and continuous improvement.
* Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
*Desirable:*
* Experience preparing for CQC inspections and managing audit processes.
* Strong ability to build positive team culture and reduce staff turnover.
