Summary
As the public face of our properties, you’ll provide a warm, friendly welcome, give information about the property, answer questions and make sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit.
Salary: 24,862.50
Contract/duration: Permanent. This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year
Hours/working pattern: 480 hours annualised working on peak dates during holidays and weekends, so they may be times when a full shift is 7 hours in the summer and 6 in the winter, there may also be half day shifts. Your shifts will increase in these times and decrease during term time.
Please note that this role requires working weekends, bank holidays and school holidays. Indoor and outdoor work involved.

What it's like to work here
Polesden Lacey welcomes over 350,000 visitors a year, which will keep you on your toes in visitor reception! There are many large events throughout the year such as Summer of Play, Easter. Rose celebration and Christmas, but we also welcome many regular visitors who come for coffee and a walk whatever the weather. This picturesque property is just four miles outside of Dorking, however you're likely to need your own transport to get here.
What you'll be doing
Day to day, you’ll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You’ll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information.
Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can. You’ll have the chance to be involved in different aspects of the visitor experience, from key property events to social media promotion - no two days are the same. Great visitor experiences are in our nature, and we believe everyone should feel welcomed, appreciated and more engaged because of the excellent service you provide.
