Role Overview
Vario is a market leading alternative legal services provider within the law firm, Pinsent Masons. It is unique in the legal sector. Vario is a practice group within Pinsent Masons which incorporates; Flexible Services, Consulting and Technology, Legal Project Management and Managed Legal Services (MLS). This role sits within our MLS team.
As the Vario team grows, we are recruiting a Senior Specialist to support our MLS Delivery teams in ensuring that we are delivering a world class legal service to our practice groups and external clients. Reporting to our Senior Delivery Manager, the successful candidate will:
1. Lead on delivery of large projects and complex matters in collaboration with Legal Project Managers and/or matter partners
2. Act as a subject matter expert in their field, advising fellow team members on work products and delivering the most technically complex work
3. Engage with lawyers and/or clients where appropriate regarding the delivery of work, agreeing structured ways of working to manage expectations
4. Work with Vario Practice Development Manager to develop and deliver technical training on relevant issues
5. Mentor less experienced members of the team
6. Support scoping and solution design of working winning activities
7. As a subject matter expert, you will work on a range of Banking work types, collaborating with team members and taking the lead in managing the delivery of Banking work to lawyers and clients
Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, however, we are happy to consider flexible working requests.
Candidate Overview

9. Broad experience of working in a large, commercial law firm
10. Understanding of levels of service and capabilities required in alternative delivery models
11. Strong project management skills
12. Excellent stakeholder management skills
