We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our client. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets the required standards of quality and safety.
Duties
– Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
– Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
– Mix and match colours to achieve the desired shade and finish.
– Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary touch-ups.
– Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
– Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
– Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time.
Requirements
– Proven experience as a Painter or in a similar role. within the car industry
– Strong mechanical knowledge related to painting techniques and equipment.
– Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
– Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during preparation and application processes.
– Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
– Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
