Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Care4ocus. In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals with diverse needs—including dementia, learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and complex care needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting individuals in complex care, home care, assisted living, or nursing home environments. You will assist clients with daily activities, ensure their comfort and safety, and promote independence, dignity, and choice in the comfort of their own home. Responsibilities:
* Assist with daily living activities such as washing, dressing, oral hygiene, continence care, and mobility.
* Support with safe medication administration in line with company policy.
* Provide nutritional support, including meal preparation and feeding where required.
* Deliver 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1 support as outlined in personalised care plans.
* Work with individuals with challenging behaviours and profound learning disabilities.
* Follow Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies to promote wellbeing and safety.
* Support with domestic tasks, cleaning, and shopping.
* Escort individuals to appointments, education, work placements, or social activities.
* Encourage independence, choice, and community participation.
* Actively safeguard and protect individuals from harm or abuse.
* Maintain accurate and timely records of care delivered.
* Adhere to Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards, company policies, and health & safety regulations.
* Participate in risk assessments and report concerns promptly.
* Work collaboratively with families, carers, and professionals.
* Engage in regular supervision, training, and development activities.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
