We are seeking a supportive Chemistry Teacher to join a flourishing Secondary School based in Southwark, London starting January. The successful candidate will be passionate about education and have a proven track record of delivering excellent teaching in a Chemistry setting. Aside from that, the successful Chemistry Teacher will work collaboratively with the school team to ensure all students receive a positive and engaging learning experience. Chemistry Teacher Responsibilities: · Plan and deliver exciting and engaging lessons that challenge and inspire Chemistry students to reach their full potential · Monitor and assess students' progress and keep regular records of Chemistry students’ academic performance · Create a positive learning environment that is both safe and conducive for learning · Collaborate with school management, teaching staff and parents to provide quality academic support for Chemistry students · Prepare and participate in school-related activities such as performances, events, and parent/teacher meetings · Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all students · Use a variety of effective classroom management strategies to ensure an orderly and safe learning environment Chemistry Teacher Requirements: · Chemistry teacher experience · QTS or equivalent · A recognised qualification in teaching, preferably a Bachelor's degree in Education or any relevant field · Proven experience in teaching Chemistry in a mainstream secondary school · Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners · Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students · Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and its application in class · Ability to adapt teaching styles to facilitate different learning styles · A passion for teaching and making a difference in students' lives.
