Peoples Care Solutions is recruiting frontline Care at Home Carers to support older people in their own homes across East Renfrewshire G77 (Newton Mearns, Clarkston, Busby, Giffnock).

Hours:
* 16 to 35 hours per week, across core shifts
* Opportunity to work additional hours
Core Shifts:
* 7.30am to 1.15pm and 3.45pm to 9.15pm.
* Flexibility possible, but to agreed work pattern
* Some weekend work preferred every second weekend
Location:
* East Renfrewshire (G77)
* Successful applicants must reside within 30 minutes of G77 and hold a FULL UK Driving Licence, and have access to own vehicle
* Suitable applicants who live within 15 mins walk of The Avenue Shopping Centre, Newton Mearns will be considered
Salary:
* £13.95 per hour
* Enhanced rates £21.85 for 8 public holidays
* 28 days (pro rata) paid annual holiday

The Role:
* Providing personal care, mobility assistance, nutrition and skin care assistance, medication support on a person- centred basis within older people's own homes
* Previous experience is helpful but not essential; an organised, caring and compassionate approach is required. xsngvjr
Responsibilities:
* Carry out Scheduled visits to individuals up to 4 times a day
* Care for and support people in their own homes enabling them to continue to live at home safely and continue to maximise their independence
* Develop professional relationships through mutual trust and communicating effectively
* Be a committed frontline carers team player
* Maintain required standards at all times
* Evidence visits information by writing in Daily Record Books
* Ensure management are given timely feedback
Candidate specification:
* Right to work in UK: suitable student visa applications considered
* Live within 30 minutes of G77
* Hold full UK driving licence with a car (applications from non- drivers who live within 15 minutes walk of G77 can be considered)
* Previous care experience and qualifications eg SVQ 2 and 3 preferred, but not essential
* Successful applicants are required to undergo Disclosure Scotland check (funded) and SSSC registration
