We are recruiting on behalf of an independently run tea room and restaurant based in Radlett, Hertfordshire. Our client is seeking a motivated and reliable Chef de Partie to join their kitchen team, working with fresh, seasonal ingredients to deliver high-quality dishes in a relaxed but professional dining environment.
This is a great opportunity for a chef who takes pride in consistent food preparation, enjoys a busy service, and wants to develop within a supportive, hands-on kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and present dishes to a consistent, high standard
Run your own section efficiently during service
Work with fresh, seasonal ingredients across a varied menu
Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
Maintain excellent food hygiene, health, and safety standards
Assist with prep, stock control, and kitchen organisation
Support junior team members where required
About You
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up
Experience in fresh food kitchens (restaurant, café, or gastro-style preferred)
Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen standards
Calm, organised, and able to work well under pressure
Passionate about fresh, well-presented food
A positive team player with a good work ethic
