Role – We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Architect to lead architecture and integration strategy across a large-scale SAP S/4HANA Cloud transformation programme. This is a senior architecture role focused on designing scalable SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) solutions, enabling cloud-native extensions, and ensuring secure, future-ready integration across enterprise landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
* SAP BTP Architecture & Strategy
o Define and govern end-to-end SAP BTP architecture across:
+ SAP S/4HANA Cloud
+ SAP Build solutions
+ Integration and extension platforms
o Lead architecture for:
+ Side-by-side extensions
+ In-app extensions
+ Clean Core-aligned solutions
* Cloud Development & Integration
o Provide architectural direction for:
+ ABAP Cloud development
+ SAP Fiori and SAP Build Apps
+ OData services and API strategies
o Design and oversee integrations between:
+ SAP systems
+ Third-party platforms
+ Downstream enterprise applications
o Ensure scalable and secure use of:
+ SAP Integration Suite
+ SAP BTP services and middleware
* Governance & Delivery
o Establish architectural standards and governance processes
o Ensure compliance with:
+ Legal and regulatory requirements
+ Enterprise security standards
+ SAP best practices
o Support incident, change, and enhancement management activities
* Stakeholder Collaboration
o Work closely with:
+ Functional and technical teams
+ Enterprise architects
+ Integration partners and vendors
o Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
o Participate in Agile delivery ceremonies and architecture reviews
Key Skills:
* Strong experience as an:
o SAP BTP Architect
o SAP Solution Architect
o SAP Cloud Architect
* Deep expertise in:
o SAP S/4HANA Cloud
o SAP BTP architecture and integration
o SAP Integration Suite
* Strong understanding of:
o BTP security and landscape management
o API and OData service design
o SAP Clean Core principles
* Experience with:
o ABAP Cloud
o SAP Build Apps / Fiori
o Enterprise integration patterns
* Proven experience working in:
o Agile delivery environments
o Multi-vendor enterprise programmes
* Strong communication, stakeholder management, and architectural governance skills
