As a Maintenance Assistant, you will provide vital operational, servicing, and maintenance support across our Main Operating Base at RAF Brize Norton. This includes work within the Voyager maintenance hangars, workshops, and wider facilities. Your contribution will help ensure aircraft, tooling, and work areas remain safe, serviceable, and compliant with regulatory standards.

What you'll be doing
* Provide general support to the Base Maintenance team within the aircraft hangar bays.
* Assist in maintaining standards required under CAA Part 145 and company health & safety procedures.
* Support facilities management activities, ensuring AirTanker infrastructure remains safe and serviceable.
* Inspect hangar floors, workshops, tooling, and equipment for cleanliness, condition, and usability—reporting issues where required.
* Liaise with Facilities teams and Babcock regarding waste stream operations.
* Monitor and maintain POL (Petrol, Oil & Lubricants) stores within hangar bays.
* Escort visiting support functions when required for operational or security reasons.
What you'll bring
* Background in engineering, aviation, or facilities support.
* A genuine passion for delivering service excellence.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Full UK driving licence and ability to obtain/hold CP2 clearance.
