Purpose of Role
We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Planner to support the delivery of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities across our region.
This role is key to ensuring maintenance schedules are accurately set up, maintained, and communicated between site teams and the digital systems team.
Job Description
You will be responsible for managing incoming requests, interpreting technical and operational information, and converting it into structured data that can be actioned within our systems.
This is a detail-focused role that suits someone who enjoys organisation, working with data, and collaborating with different teams.
Responsibilities
1. Manage and coordinate Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules across the region
2. Receive and review emails from site teams requesting new PPMs, amendments, or adjustments
3. Ensure all requests are submitted in the correct, predefined format
4. Accurately input and update PPM data into Excel spreadsheets
5. Interpret information from site teams and translate it into a clear, structured format for the digital team
6. Liaise with the digital team to ensure information is correctly understood and processed
7. Maintain accurate records and help ensure data quality and consistency
8. Support continuous improvement of PPM processes and data accuracy
Essential Qualifications/Skills
Essential:
9. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
10. Comfortable working with data entry and structured information
11. Good written communication skills, particularly for email-based requests
12. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Desirable (but not essential):
13. Experience using Excel formulas, functions, or lookups ( VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
14. Previous experience in facilities management, maintenance planning, or scheduling
15. Experience working with digital systems or data teams
