Are you ready to work independently and make a real impact? We are looking for an experienced neurophysio to cover a 1-year maternity leave.
Essential details: Start date: Feb/Mar 2026, 22.5 hours per week although more or less considered for the right candidate.
This job is not for everyone. If you need daily check‑ins with colleagues or a social workplace environment, this isn’t the role for you. If you thrive on autonomy, love neurological rehab, and want to see the difference you can make in someone’s life – keep reading.
We’re looking for aneurological physiotherapist to providecommunity‑based rehab in Stirling, Falkirk & surrounding areas. You’ll be working independently, managing your own caseload, and deciding how best to help your clientsreach their full physical potential.
The most common conditions you’ll treat arestroke, brain & spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s, and MS. You won’t be stuck in a clinic—we don’t have one. You’ll be out in the community, in people’s homes, and in the real world where rehab matters most.
What You Need to Know About This Job:
* It’s flexible – choose your working days
* It’s rewarding – You’ll see the real‑life impact of your work every day.
* It’s independently driven – While you’ll mostly work one‑on‑one with your client and make decisions on your own, support is always available when needed.
* It’s specialist – We use cutting‑edge rehab technologies, and you’ll get the training to integrate them into your practice.
* It’s not the NHS – If you like long meetings, service or capacity defined treatment goals and a set caseload, this isn’t the place. But if you want freedom to shape your role and push your clinical skills, this could be the perfect fit.
* Competitive salary based on skills and experience, suitable for experienced NHS band 6 / band 7, or equivalent.
Who We’re Looking For:
* A neurological physiotherapist who’s already got some post‑grad experience under their belt.
* An HCPC‑registered physio who has experience of working in the community.
* A problem solver – you won’t always have a textbook answer, and that excites you.
* Someone who’s organised – diary management is key when you’re working across different locations.
* A rehab enthusiast – you want to push the boundaries of what’s possible for people with neurological conditions.
Our Purpose:
We empower people living with neurological challenges to reach their full physical potential, so they can have a better, more fulfilling quality of life. We don just treat— we listen, motivate, and give people real hope for recovery.
