My client, a leading regional legal practice, is looking to recruit a Senior Associate (ideally 5-10 years PQE) to join their growing Development team, focusing on Strategic Land Development. The firm generates significant opportunities from regional and national landowners/property developers, and to enable growth, they require an experienced solicitor with a strong background in Strategic Land Development (Option and/or Promotion agreements) and an established reputation in this field, who will bring a reputation and ideally connections with agencies.

Job Responsibilities:
* Responsible for managing own caseload and ensuring deadlines are met;
* Assisting Partners on complex and high-value matters;
* Ensuring client retention through effective client management and service delivery;
* Properly scoping and pricing new instructions, with good financial management;
* Providing clients with accurate, up-to-date legal advice tailored to their circumstances, offering value for money;
* Contributing to the development of the team business plan and taking ownership of assigned activities;
* Developing relationships with peers across the firm;
* Supporting business development and marketing activities, including attending conferences;
* Managing direct reports as the team grows.
Person Specification:
* Proven technical experience in Strategic Land Development;
* Adaptable, enthusiastic, flexible, and able to work under pressure individually and as part of a team;
* Collaborative with colleagues across the firm;
* Client-focused, ensuring timely and cost-effective service delivery;
* Effective communicator at all levels;
* Strong commercial acumen with aspirations to grow and succeed within the firm.
