We are currently recruiting for a Technical Contracts Manager to look after 85 education sites in the Stoke area. Managing a team consisting of 2 managers who oversee 30 supervisors/engineers as well as a dedicated administration team, the contract covers all ppm and reactive maintenance across the sites as well as small refurbishment and minor works. As the Contracts Manager, you will manage the P+L for the account as well as the customer relationship. The role is based in the Stoke office 4 days and from home 1 day per week. This is role is a great stepping stone to Account Director level so would suit people looking for career progression within a busy and vibrant organisation.
Responsibilities
* Managing a team to deliver a high-level maintenance service to schools around the Stoke area.
* Team motivation and people management, driving positive and engaging cultere
* Ensuring the contract is profitable, managing the P+L which is circa £10m maintenance works and £2m lifecycle works
* Relationship management with the client, ensuring they are happy with the service provided
* H+S focused with experience of managing SHEQ previously on a contract
* Working with the team to upskill and coach their skill set and experience
This role would be ideal for someone working as a TSM/Contracts Manager/Account Manager on smaller contract who is looking for that next step into a large P+L and building portfolio while still being local.
Qualifications
* Come from a Mechanical or Electrical maintenance background with relevant qualifications
* Previous contracts management experience
* Strong customer service and relationship management skills
* Experience working within PFI preferred but not essential
* Commercial accumen
