We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Principal Electrical Engineer to join our design team in Bristol as part of a multi-disciplinary department providing detailed designs for water-related projects in the UK. This role offers flexible working with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office and flexible start and finish times.

What does the role involve?
As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will work closely with experienced electrical and mechanical engineers, as well as colleagues from other disciplines within the UK and Ireland Water Business Unit, to deliver projects by:
* Undertaking outline and detailed designs and specifications for electrical, instrumentation, and control works.
* Providing daily technical input as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Ensuring design outputs meet scope, timescales, and budgets.
* Collaborating with other disciplines to deliver project requirements and added value to clients.
What we’re looking for from you:
* A degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent) and chartered status with a relevant professional institution.
* Extensive knowledge and experience in electrical, instrumentation, and control design for the water industry.
* Experience in delivering water-related projects and specifications.
* An understanding of environmental impacts, sustainable solutions, water and wastewater processes, and health and safety legislation.
* The ability to work with multidisciplinary engineers and industry professionals to develop innovative, bespoke designs.
