Location:
Home Working / Field Based (will be required to travel to Head Office in Walsall for ad hoc training or team meetings)
Working Hours:
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary:
c.£45K and car allowance, with eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual bonus scheme and an excellent benefits package.
Holiday Entitlement:
25 days plus Public/Bank holidays
Main Purpose of Role
Develop a high-performing, multi-trade, Regional Contractor Network supporting CET’s position as the company of choice for the UK’s Blue-Chip Home Emergency Insurers. Covering our North Region (North England, Northern Ireland & Scotland), this key role involves managing the day-to-day performance of our North Network, working closely with multi-trade domestic emergency repair contractors to ensure top-tier service during customers' times of need.
You will be empowered and accountable for achieving service and operational KPIs within your territory, building on and enhancing the existing high-performing network. Additionally, you will support wider business improvements to better support our network, increase engagement, and deliver improved results.
Main Responsibilities
* Position CET as the preferred company for Home Emergency Contractors across the UK & NI.
* Take full accountability for regional KPI / SLA delivery.
* Manage relationships with existing contractors in the North Network.
* Support and manage technical queries from internal and external teams.
* Ensure sufficient coverage across all trades to meet demand.
* Maintain the highest safety standards within the network.
* Develop the network to provide best-in-class customer service.
* Manage regional contractor costs and cost per claim.
* Foster collaborative relationships with internal teams.
* Present clearly and professionally at all levels within the business.
* Support the onboarding and hyper-care period for new contractors.
* Provide regular updates on performance against plans and strategies.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
* Technical / Qualified trade background, preferably in Heating, Plumbing, or Electrical (Essential).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Intermediate / Advanced).
Essential and Desirable Skills
* Technical background in domestic gas heating, electrics, or plumbing.
* Experience managing a contractor network or similar operational third parties.
* Proven track record of driving positive change.
* Experience using KPIs to improve business performance.
* Data-driven decision-making skills.
* Organised, able to prioritise effectively.
* Driven, determined, with good attention to detail.
* Ability to influence and drive cultural change.
* Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
