Site Engineer (Geo-environmental)
We are seeking to grow our world‑class team to continue delivering technical excellence on large‑scale ground investigations. This role will require a large proportion of on‑site work and travel within the UK. The successful candidate will play a key role in day‑to‑day project delivery, working closely with project managers and senior team members.
Key Responsibilities
* Completion of groundwater monitoring.
* Supervision of site investigations.
* Supervision of field work including soil logging, environmental sampling, chemical and geotechnical testing, groundwater sampling and ground‑gas monitoring.
* Data collation.
* Ensuring that all work is delivered in line with procedures and to the highest safety, health and environmental standards.
Experience & Knowledge
* Knowledge of the requirements for planning and supervision of site investigations.
* Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations and their application to safe design and implementation of site investigations.
* Experience handling data, including the use of GIS (desirable).

* Has a full UK driving licence (or equivalent) – this is essential to the role.

Qualifications & Certifications
* Site safety qualifications such as first aid training and the Site Super‑visors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) or equivalent.
* Relevant technical degree desirable but not essential (chemistry, biology, geology, engineering, or environmental science).
* Able to travel to sites across the UK as required.
