Outage Planner
Salary: £37,477 to £56,216 (plus benefits)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8am to 4pm
Location & Postcode: Allington EfW, ME16 0LE
As an Outage Planner at FCC Environment, you will be responsible for planning preventative and reactive outage work at Allington EfW to ensure all resources are used in the most effective manner, maximising plant SHEQ performance, availability and throughput.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working five days per week.

What will you be doing?
- Playing a key role in the planning, execution and completion of planned outages on each of the three lines, as well as the steam turbine/generator and other common plant
- Developing workflow processes to ensure site resources are used in the most effective manner
- Developing appropriate project management documentation
- Driving the development of the CMMS
- Managing and contributing towards the team effort
- Ensuring all activities within the site are carried out safely
- Ensuring visitors and subcontractors attending the site are inducted in site safety and emergency procedures
- Ensuring site housekeeping standards are achieved and developed
- Preparing and submitting financial applications for funding
- Ensuring stock and non-stock materials are ordered and available as required
