We are recruiting for dedicated and committed support worker on behalf of one of our clients who support children and young adults with learning disabilities.
This is a rare and fantastic opportunity that would suit someone with a background working with both children and young adults as a senior support worker.
This is a full-time position with a requirement to work some weekends and during the school holidays. The role would be 3 days a week Senior Support and 2 days catching up on all administration.
The Role:
* Managing a busy rota for members of staff to ensure all shifts are covered
* Carrying out staff supervisions
* Reviewing care plans and other documents
* Working with SEND children and neurodiverse adults
* Maintaining a safe environment for staff and service users
* Completing all relevant paperwork and documenting accordingly
* Carrying out relevant risk assessments ahead of community and day trips when needed
* Protecting the confidentiality of all Service Users and Clients
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years experience as a Senior Support Worker in the UK is essential
* Must be resilient and compassionate
* Excellent communication skills
* Own transport is essential for this role with a full clean UK driving licence
* Current enhanced DBS is essential
