Position Overview:


We are a digital-first technology services company, supported by two leading private equity firms: Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Everstone Capital. As a midsize IT services company backed by private equity, we combine the agility of a smaller firm with the extensive capabilities of a large enterprise, delivering robust solutions and exceptional service.


We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Account Manager to join our London team, with a focus on Banking & Financial Services (BFS) clients. This role will involve both growing existing client relationships and driving new business opportunities through services and solutions selling.


The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a client-facing role, strong interpersonal skills, and the drive to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build your career in account management and client partnership, working closely with senior leaders and global delivery teams.


Key Responsibilities


* Support senior Client Partners in managing and growing strategic accounts within the BFS vertical.
* Build and nurture trusted client relationships with key stakeholders across technology and business functions.
* Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling services and solutions.
* Drive new logo acquisition in targeted BFS accounts in the UK & Europe.
* Collaborate with delivery and practice teams to shape and present value-led solutions.
* Participate in RFPs, proposals, and client presentations.
* Track account performance, pipeline, and client satisfaction metrics.
* Represent Apexon at client meetings, industry forums, and networking events.


Required Skills & Experience


* 3–5 years’ experience in client-facing roles (account management, sales, business development, or consulting).
* Strong exposure to IT services/solutions selling.
* Experience with Banking & Financial Services clients preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and influence stakeholders.
* Proactive, energetic, and able to work with aggressive growth targets.
* Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Understanding of local market dynamics in the UK (experience in EU/Ireland is a plus).
