Job Summary
The Radiology Directorate in Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB) is seeking enthusiastic, committed individuals to join our team as a full‑time Band 6 CT Radiographer. Applications are welcome from HCPC registered radiographers with significant radiography experience.
Closing date: 15 June 2026. Location: The Grange University Hospital, Caerleon Road, Cwmbran NP44 8YN, United Kingdom.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise, coordinate and participate in the provision of the CT service.
* Participate in the 24‑hour CT service shift rota as required.
* Ensure high quality imaging in an efficient, professional, and caring manner.
* Support the Radiology CT/MRI Lead in service delivery.
* Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of current radiographic techniques and equipment.
* Carry out intravenous cannulations and injections as required by the department after appropriate training.
* Communicate effectively with patients and staff to give technical and professional advice.
* Contribute to the education of others, fulfilling a teaching and advisory role to qualified colleagues.
Qualifications & Experience
* Essential: Experience in a wide range of radiographic techniques; DCR or BSc in Radiography.
* Desirable: Experience in specialised areas; evidence of further education or qualification.
* Current UK professional registration (HCPC).
* Demonstrated commitment to CPD, with participation in departmental CPD sessions (online and practical).
* Experience supervising undergraduate radiography students (e.g., from Cardiff University) is desirable.
Education & Training
* Essential: DCR or BSc Radiography.
* Desirable: Further education or qualification.

* Disclosure and Barring Service Check required.
* Training posts under Annex 21 will also be considered.
