Position: Pupil Premium Manager Location: Prescot, Merseyside Type: Full-Time, Immediate Start Responsibilities: Oversee the administration and effective allocation of pupil premium funding within a large mainstream high school setting. Collaborate closely with school staff, including senior leadership, teachers, and support staff, to identify eligible students and ensure their individual needs are addressed. Develop and implement tailored strategies and interventions to improve the academic achievement and well-being of disadvantaged students, in line with the school's objectives and policies. Monitor the progress and attainment of pupil premium students through data analysis and regular review meetings, providing support and guidance where necessary. Forge strong partnerships with external agencies, community organizations, and stakeholders to access additional support, resources, and opportunities for pupil premium students. Requirements: Previous experience working as a Pupil Premium Manager or in a similar role within a large mainstream high school setting. In-depth knowledge of pupil premium funding and its impact on student outcomes, coupled with a proven track record of implementing effective strategies to support disadvantaged students. Strong analytical and data management skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and use them to inform decision-making and intervention planning. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, students, parents, and external partners. Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance is essential due to the immediate start date.
