About the Role:
We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Freelance Document Controller to join a multi-million-pound new build school project for a leading Tier 1 contractor. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-profile scheme from early stages through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage project documentation across multiple platforms (e.g. Viewpoint, Aconex, Asite, 4Projects).
*
Ensure all documents are up to date, properly filed, and distributed to the right stakeholders.
*
Maintain drawing registers, RFIs, submittals, and technical documents to support the project team.
*
Liaise with site and design teams to ensure document control procedures are followed.
*
Provide accurate reporting and audits of documentation processes when required.
*
General administration duties
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Document Controller on large construction projects.
*
Familiarity with document control systems used by main contractors.
*
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a project team.
*
Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
*
Immediate or short notice availability preferred.
