Overview
We are recruiting an Industrial Door Service Technician to join our field-based team in the southeast of the UK. The purpose of this role is to install, service and maintain industrial doors and docking equipment.
Responsibilities
* You will perform installation, preventative maintenance and repairs of Industrial Doors
* Trouble-shoot equipment breakdowns
* Consult with customers on repair and safety related issues
* Complete appropriate documentation through your mobile device
This role reports into the Operations Manager.
Qualifications
* Apprentice-trained/time-served/fitters mate route or equivalent (i.e., electrically NVQ level 3) in a maintenance or installation-related field
* Basic electrical knowledge essential
* DHF or similar qualification is preferred, but not essential
* Knowledge and/or experience of hydraulics preferred but not essential
* Experienced within the industrial door or related industry, such as traffic gates/barriers
* Ability to work at height
* IT literate
* UK drivers licence essential
