Job Description:
Working with a large IT consultancy seeking a Technical Business Analyst on a permanent basis.
* Permanent role
* Paying up to £55,000 per annum
* Remote with occasional client visits
* Candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will:
* Translate business objectives and requirements into technical features and user stories that influence product development and delivery.
* Utilize your understanding of IT Delivery Frameworks and DevOps practices to facilitate CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient delivery.
* Conduct system and data analysis to identify improvements and inform decision-making.
* Support product roadmap management, prioritization, and backlog refinement in collaboration with product owners, developers, architects, and QA teams.
Your profile:
* Experience in technical design and development of technology-based products.
* Experience with technical architecture and technical writing.
* Skills in data analysis, data modeling, and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, PowerBI). Willing to learn database schemas and perform data manipulation.
* Ability to facilitate end-to-end delivery from research to release.
* Experience building and prioritizing agile backlogs.
* Willingness to learn different delivery methodologies such as Scrum, SAFE, and Waterfall.
* Interest in contributing to the growth of the internal BA community.
* Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Ideally, you would also have experience in sectors such as Public Sector, Utilities, Financial Services, Consumer Products, and Retail. Additionally, supporting internal team activities like recruitment, client development, line management, training, and mentoring is beneficial. Certifications in Business Analysis, Agile Delivery, User-Centered Design, etc., are also desirable.
