We are currently recruiting for a Full‑time GSO Shunter/Cleaner/Fueller at Speke Bus Depot for Arriva, and we are looking to hear from candidates who are positive, have a can‑do attitude and have ambition to grow.
The Role
As a GSO Shunter, you will play an essential role in ensuring our fleet operates smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Process the vehicles on their return to the depot.
* Move and manoeuvre vehicles/buses within the depot, following instructions from the allocator and parking according to the parking plan.
* Maintain overall cleanliness, including bus and facility cleaning, waste removal.
* Perform fuelling tasks.
* Conduct visual checks for any damage, report issues, and ensure all windows are closed before buses enter the wash.
* Follow strict Health & Safety procedures and instructions.
* Use digital reporting tools.
* Perform additional site duties in line with General Service Operative (GSO).
Essential Requirements
* Deliver timely, efficient, and courteous service on customer sites.
* Full UK car (B category) driving licence, held for a minimum of 2 years.
* Full training and support will be provided by our team, no formal qualifications are needed.
