Skills: Hand tools, Machining, Mechanical overhaul, Fitting, Repairs, Workshop, Maintenance, Winding, Servicing, Brazing, Wiring, Impreg In this role you will utilise the latest technology to repair, assemble, build and maintain aircraft generators and motors, in addition to learning how to balance rotor assemblies. The Role: - Use both manual and CNC machines to machine parts for use in electrical motors and generators. - Ability to use a multitude of hand tools including screw drivers, pliers, torque wrenches, pneumatic tools and other manual hand tools. - Take precise measurements using a multitude of equipment including micrometres, height gauges and air gauges. - Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to work area and processes. - Operate machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures. - Ability to manually handle products weighing up to 25kg, using lift aides where appropriate.
