Responsibilities
* Assess the occupational needs of children and develop personalised intervention plans.
* Collaborate with families and other professionals to support children’s development and independence.
* Implement and evaluate therapy sessions, making necessary adjustments to better meet each child’s needs.
* Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of assessments and interventions.
* Provide guidance and support to other team members and utilise innovative methods to enhance service delivery.
* Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to ensure holistic care for patients.
Requirements
* Recognised Occupational Therapy degree.
* Valid and up to date HCPC Registration.
* Registered member of RCOT.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience.
* Relevant experience in similar settings preferred.
* Experience with neurodivergent individuals or those with learning, socio-emotional, or mental health difficulties.
* Sound knowledge of OT theory and its practical application.
* Experience in multi-professional work preferred.
* Ability to work independently, with flexibility and confidence.
* Strong report writing skills.
* Full UK driving licence with access to a car.
* Interest in sensory integration or practice (SI practitioner training a plus).
