We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team. As a Stevedore you are responsible for the safe and efficient handling and storage of cargo. Full training will be provided to ensure competence in operating a range of plant and equipment. This is a temporary contract until April/May 2026 Key Responsibilities Carry out operations including mooring, working on vessels, and warehouse activities. Operate mechanical lifting equipment, ranging from pallet trucks to 2.4-tonne forklifts. Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures. Working Pattern 12-hour day and night shifts across a 7-day operation, aligned with vessel schedules. Minimum of 36 hours per week (plus potential overtime). Shifts are communicated weekly; flexibility to work at short notice is required. Skills & Qualifications Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills. Physically fit to climb ladders and work on vessels. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Flexible to work weekends and night shifts. Desirable Skills and Qualifications (but not essential): Experience in manual handling and plant operation Warehouse operations experience Reach Truck or Forklift Truck Operator qualifications Mooring training Full UK driving licence Full in-house training will be provided.
