Experience, knowledge, and skills in warehouse and transport are essential, based at one of our delivery locations.
You will be responsible for
* Leading your team to ensure efficient, safe trading within legal constraints and high customer service standards.
* Managing delivery costs and customer charges to meet targets.
* Identifying efficiency improvements and setting challenging payroll cost targets.
* Understanding the local market to provide the best service and customer satisfaction.
* Managing your team to meet customer service requirements and engaging with customers for feedback-driven improvements.
* Collaborating with regional teams to identify opportunities and develop or enhance operational methods.
You will need
* Previous delivery/transport management experience and knowledge are essential.
* Management CPC qualification.
* Experience managing warehouse operations.
* Strong customer engagement skills and relationship-building ability.
* Creative thinking for service improvement and team development.
* Talent identification and nurturing skills.
* Motivational leadership to foster a customer-centric culture.
* Effective communication and stakeholder influence skills.
